The Order of St John

St John Tanzania is part of the global charity called the Order of St John. The Order of St John is a major international charity, accredited to the United Nations, whose organisations provide First Aid, health care and support services in over 40 countries around the world.

St John Tanzania is one of 11 St John organisations working across Africa. St John is also works in the Caribbean, Asia-Pacific and Europe. There is also a St John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem which is providing vital eye care to the Palestinian community.

St John Tanzania ni moja ya sehemu za chama hiki cha kujitolea kinachoitwa, “The order of St John”. The Order of St John ni chama kikubwa cha kimataifa cha kujitolea ambacho kinaunganishwa na Umoja wa Mataifa, katika vitengo vinavyotoa Huduma ya Kwanza, afya, na kazi za kujitolea katika nchi zaidi ya 40 duniani kote.

St John Tanzania ni moja wapo ya vyama vya St John vinavyofanya kazi barani Afrika. St John inafanya kazi Caribbean, Asia-Pacific na ulaya. Pia tuna hospitali ya St John ya macho iliopo jijini Yerusalemu ambayo inashughulikia magonjwa ya macho kwa uangalifu kwa ajili ya jamii ya wapalestina.
